Bordering The Rushes is picturesque Kangaroo Lake. From the resort, a variety of water sports are available. Go fishing and canoeing. Take a paddleboat onto the lake. All crafts are available at no charge. While at the Rushes, enjoy the indoor recreation center, including the indoor pool and exercise room. Relax in the whirlpool tub and steam room. In warmer weather, enjoy a game of tennis on the asphalt courts or play sand volleyball on the beach. Snow shoeing and ice skating are two of the winter sports to be enjoyed. Four miles of groomed, cross-country ski trails are on site. A children's play area is also available.
